We're all a
little shy at times when meeting other people.
Being shy can be
a character trait. In this case, it means being introverted instead of
extroverted (bold). Shy people are generally less communicative, quieter
and often more observant. They can have a high self-esteem, knowing themselves
as a calm and introverted individuals and accepting themselves as they
are. therefore, shyness can be a reaction to being hurt or humiliated and can be used
as a way to prevent further pain.
But, there are also
some people who believe that being extremely shy is a sign of
low self-esteem and are largely preoccupied with what others think of
them. It's normal to be a bit shy or to have low self-esteem but if you wish
you were a little more confident, there are things you can do to ease yourself
out of your shell.
So, relating
again to the intro of this comment, I encourage you all not to be afraid of
taking a chance when meeting someone new. It could be the key to a better life.
