Introduction

 

Hello classmates, as the saying goes better late than never.

My name is Pamela Palacio Colón. I was born in Santo Domingo to a very loving family. I am fortunate enough to still live with my parents, Secundino and Maritza, and have an older sister, Paloma, and a younger sister, Palma. I also have a pet dog, a beagle named Milo.   

Palma's friend made this drawing of my family and it truly shows us. The berets are because of a family inside joke. 

I would describe myself as a talkative, friendly person. I enjoy reading, watching tv shows, anime, and movies, playing videogames, and listening to music. 

I met Nerys over 10 years ago because of our love of Japan and the japanese language and it is amazing to be sharing classes with her once more. If I can find a picture of us from way back, I'll definitely add it here. Nerys doesn't seem to age! 

At the moment I don’t have a regular job, I do a lot of independent work that keeps me busy and learning a lot as a translator and/or interpreter. I am currently looking for a more permanent post so if any of you have a good place of employment who is looking to hire, please let me know.

I used to consider myself a cat person until I realized my eternal runny nose was caused by cat hair allergies. I still love cats, but can't keep one at my house. 

This pup here is Milo. My trusty companion and pet. Do any of you have pets?
