The tipping point is the way os how littler things can make a big difference. Malcolm Gladwel defines it as that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire.

It has 3 rules. Gladwell describes the "three rules of epidemics" (or the three "agents of change") in the tipping points of epidemics.

  1. The law of the few is the success of any kind of social epidemic is heavily dependent on the involvement of people with a particular and rare set of social gifts.
  2. The Stickiness factor is refers to the specific content of a messages that renders its impact memorable
  3. The power of context, here Gladwell explains that Epidemics are sensitive to the conditions and circumstances of the times and places in which they occur.
