The causes of shyness
The shy people sometimes seem lost in the society. They keep quiet trying to stay off the radar. A shy person can be for several reasons and one of them is genetics. I read an article and it said “it seems that around 20% of the population has a gene that predisposes to shyness”. These people è shown from their earliest childhood as children inhibited and with a greater predisposition to stress. They also have a hypersensitive nature to external influences and it is something they carry throughout their lives.
But shyness can also appear for psychological reasons. Another article talks about this point of view. “Very strict families where punishments are frequent foster the insecurity of children and an environment where signs of affection are scarce and self-esteem is not taken care of are factors that promote the shy personality”. Childhood is a determining factor in the appearance and development of the shy character and there are many environments that can favor this shyness.
Shyness can also appear for external causes or physical. Many cases of shyness are motivated by some illness or for any physical issue or defect. Suffering some complex is cause of shyness as well as some traumatic episodes in childhood that has caused a moment of extreme shame.
These types of people should talk about their issue visiting support groups and sometimes a maven in psychology.
