The bold and the bashful

In this unit I learned the meaning of a group of words, but I must admit that there were two words whose meaning was difficult for me when associating it or implementing it in a sentence. However, I can even express by a small example the difference between each one. The first word is bold; boldness is a leadership trait to be mastered.

There are some characteristics which can define a bold person, for example: They keep clear priorities, they speak up, pair action with knowledge, obviously they own their flaws and strengths, but they accept their failures better than a bash person.

Nevertheless, a bashful person is someone socially shy or timid, self-conscious, and diffident. Usually, they’re not sure how to act, don't know how others will react, or when attention is on them.
